DSD Innovations extends its capabilities into Ultra-Precise 3D Laser Scanning and 3D measurement services.

By using the latest FARO ScanArm Portable CMM Technology combined with Geomagic Reverse Engineering and Metrology Software, along with our inhouse developed operation and process methodology, we offer the following services:

Reverse Engineering

Scan/ Contact Measurement and 3D CAD Model the Component
Generate 2D Drawings from the CAD Model

Wear Analysis

Scan/ Contact Measurement and Compare against CAD Model or Master Scan for deformation and wear
Construct and measure against references
Generate Inspection Report 

Verification

Scan/ Contact Measurement and Compare against CAD Model, 2D Drawing, Master Scan Data or Physical Master Partifact for Deformation, Alignment and Accuracy

We ensure our equipment is performing to its specification by conducting controlled tests regularly and our yearly maintenance program consist of service and calibration backed by international standards and certification. 

We can visit your facility and conduct the 3D Scanning or alternatively at our premises. 

Our inhouse capabilities allow us to Scan, Analyse, Design, Prototype and Manufacture. We can also collaborate on projects with other Engineering and Manufacturing Firms.
